Thomas E. Brenner
Thomas E. Brenner is the Chairman of Goldberg Katzman’s Insurance Defense Practice Section. Tom is a graduate of Villanova University and Villanova School of Law. He is admitted to the Pennsylvania Courts, U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third and Fourth Court Circuits and all Federal District Courts within Pennsylvania.
Tom has been an active member of the Dauphin County Bar Association serving as Chairman of the Young Lawyers Section. In 2007 he was President of the Bar Association. Committee work includes the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee and the Victim Witness Assistance Program.
Tom is active with the Pennsylvania Bar Association including the Alternative Dispute Resolution and Judicial Administration Committees. He has also served as a Representative to the Pennsylvania Bar Association House of Delegates. His American Bar Association activities have included serving as a District Representative for Pennsylvania. Professional Associations include the Pennsylvania Defense Institute, Association of Defense Trial Attorneys, Defense Research Institute, Harrisburg Claims Association, and National Association of Subrogation Professionals.
Tom is married to Mary Small Brenner. They have five children and three grandchildren. Tom is a PIAA swim official and a retired FIFA soccer referee. He is involved with church activities at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. He is an active member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the West Shore Country Club.
As part of the Litigation/Trial practice group, Tom handles matters involving insurance defense, litigation, negligence, subrogation, and civil rights.
