As of December 1, 2012, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania has amended its Local Criminal Rule 32.1.
Many Pennsylvanians are unable to find good jobs due to criminal convictions for low level, non-violent offenses from the distant past. Thankfully, on February 16, 2016, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf signed in to law Senate Bill No. 166.
Next month, a new law will take effect which will help Pennsylvanians limit access to their prior criminal records.
